HomeSafe View can be used to monitor and record video from Swann security cameras and DVRs in your network. You can view multiple video source in a single window, record streams, playback local videos, and also playback files in remote devices. Scheduled recording, video file management, etc. are also available.

If I'm being honest, the entire application feels like the result of a first year graduate developer. This in itself isn't a problem, even the first stuff I coded sucked. The problem is that someone at Swann looked at this and said "it's perfect - don't change a thing!" even though the quality is nowhere at an acceptable level for public use - in any country.
Let me be clear - this software should absolutely NOT have been released in this state. It's got a horrendous UX and UI reminiscent of the applications produced by developers without any UX experience back in the early 90's, right down to the comically awful clip art iconography as you can see in the screenshot above. Navigating the app is an exercise in frustration that will have you pulling your hair out . Probably the only thing worse is the Swann HomeSafe View Android app, but that's a story for another time.
